Responsibilities of Plowshares’ Board of Trustees include fundraising, setting policy, approving the strategic direction and plans of the theatre, approving and regularly monitoring the theatre’s annual budget and advocating for Plowshares Theatre Company in the community. Together, the Board and staff guide Plowshares’ mission and vision.

The Artistic Associates play an important part in informing the artistic direction of the Company in addition to directing and designing shows. Along with the Producing Artistic Director, they  provide the creative vision for Plowshares, plan each season of work, direct individual productions and ensure Plowshares remains in the forefront of live theater.
