Plowshares Theatre Company hereto affirms its commitment to a policy of equal employment designed to eliminate discrimination within the theatrical industry, including, but not limited to hiring practices, auditioning procedures and playwriting/script development. Consistent with the foregoing, it is the intention of Plowshares Theatre Company that the choosing and casting of plays be conducted in a manner that provides full and fair consideration to ethnic minorities and women.

All parts or roles not specified according to race or sex, except as a clear requirement of the script, shall be open to all Actors of professional ability without prejudice, and further, active solicitation of ethnic minorities and women for such roles shall be evident in all ads, notices, calls, cast breakdowns to agents, casting directors, etc., in order to insure participation in the casting process.

Plowshares Theatre Company agrees to provide Equity with all requested statistical information regarding employment and casting practices.
